Ada region teachers course September 2013

Thank you to all of the teachers who attended the course at the Ada IoP Centre from 9th September 2013 to 11th September 2013.

We used some documents on the course:

• A course booklet which covered much of what we did
• The diagram of a continuity tester we built on the first day
• The worksheets for the logic gate exercises that some people opted to do on the final day

The course provided hands-on practical activities related to the electronics elements in the JHS integrated science syllabus and some of the electronics in the SHS physics elective syllabus. The electronics elements of the JHS syllabus have been summarised in a single document.

There are some useful documents that were prepared in case they were needed but not used.

• A table of symbols for use in circuit diagrams
• A presentation on electronics components and their uses
